A Mental Health Professional Who Writes Fiction

Katherine Spearing MA, CTRC is the founder of Tears of Eden, a nonprofit supporting survivors of spiritual abuse, and the former executive producer and host of the groundbreaking podcast Uncertain, a podcast that pioneered pivotal conversations around Spiritual Abuse. She also hosts the podcast Trauma & Pop Culture and is a Certified Trauma Recovery Practitioner working primarily with clients who have survived cults, high-control environments, spiritual abuse, and sexual abuse. Endorsement

The Uncertain podcast, Tears of Eden, RetreatCon2023 and all of Katherine’s work over the last years add up to a lot more than the sum of its parts. High impact. High integrity. [Tears of Eden] is one of the most solid, balanced and informed organizations that I know of in this field. I am cheering them on to continue strong and bold in their very effective endeavor of supporting and bringing hope to religious abuse survivors.
