First Mexico Installment: A Tribute to Dead Bear
In preparation for my trip to Mexico, I have decided to put away one of the very childish habits I have been indulging. I have officially shelved (or placed in the basket beside my bed at home) my long term sleeping companion Dead Bear.
Dead Bear is a brown, stuffed bear, perfect for cuddling. He has been with me through many a dark night. He has also traveled pretty much anywhere I have traveled. In fact, the only time we had ever been separated was when I accidentally forgot him. Dead Bear also has a special trick (demonstrated in the video).
As I am anticipating having a rather unpredictable life in the next few years. I have decided it's time to put Dead Bear in a permanent place and not have to worry about moving his feeble self anywhere.
I am very sad to part with him. I fear it will be many months before I get used to not having him around. However, I believe he is in a better place.
