From the Back of the Church Building

If you stand in the back of the church building, notice who is there. 

You’ll see the women who can’t bring themselves to speak of the deeds done in daylight that no one believes. 

You’ll see the weeping ones, who keep their tears hidden until the final song. 

You’ll see the folks who are giving God a try, one last time. 

You’ll see the ones who’s hope is so dry, this is the place they chose to come. 

From the back of the church building, you’ll see.
